Today’s Date: August 10th @ 2:30 (Leo Board Meeting)

What you should have in your agenda (regular orders of the day):
• All new business
• Call to order
• The routine
• Any other formalities
• All items that need to be discussed

Parliamentary :

**Agenda can be modified
• Needs to be approved by entire club


Subsidiary Motions- 7
• Helps us move through main items of business


*President must remain impartial at all times. *
• Refer to Chair as Madam Chairwoman or Madam President

Previous Question = Stops all debate
• Vote now
• No more debate on the topic


Limiting debate is appropriate in some situations-
• 2 for
• 2 against
• 1 minute for each speaker


** Impeachment routine needs to be decided**



Send out agenda ahead of time, so everyone is prepared for meeting.
• Ask for members to give additions to agenda earlier
• Put on the blog
• Send to each individual email
